Information Security Engineer
My path into security wasn't a straight line — it started in first-line IT support, handling day-to-day technical issues and troubleshooting for end users. From there I moved into deployment work, helping roll out new systems and providing second-line technical assistance, before stepping into a role supporting technical infrastructure for a cultural institution's staff and exhibition systems.
Over time the work grew more security-adjacent — supporting endpoint protection and device management tooling, then taking on IT support at a larger scale where I became the escalation point for complex, user-impacting issues across a region. That progression eventually led to a dedicated move into security: I now work as an Information Security Engineer, focused on security operations, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
This site is where I'm documenting the next stage of that journey publicly — building out a broader security engineering skillset beyond what my day-to-day role covers, through the roadmap I'm following, the labs and courses I'm using, and the projects that come out of it. It's as much a working log for myself as it is something I can point to and say "here's the evidence, not just the claim."
